Thank you for considering Mees Distributors as the supplier of your stone tops. We want this to a rewarding experience that leaves you with a finished project you will cherish every day. Due to the unique characteristics of natural stone, we want to remind you of some specifics:
Stone Selection:
Stone is a natural material and is subject to inconsistencies. Shade, pattern, texture, and thickness varations are inherent in all natural stone products, as as such, are not considered defects. We will do our best to inform you of the inherent characteristics of the stone you choose. We encourage our customers to visit our Cincinnati and Columbus Slab Selection Cents to view our current color selections. Slab color consistency is categorized as low, medium, or highly variable. Customers are welcome to personally select and reserve slabs that are considered to be highly variable. Mees Distributors reservse the right to select slabs for your project that are considered to be of low or medium varation.
Estimates:
In order to provide you with an estimate for your project, all we need is cabinet layout, or a hand sketch with measurement. The drawing should highlight the areas to receive stone, notation of any elevation changes, backsplash, type and number of sinks, type of stove, and any additional information needed for estimating. Your estimate will include a price for the finished product, including templated and installation if you contract us to install.
Templating:
In order to proceed with templating the following conditions must be met:
- A designated representiative for the owner must be present at the time of measuring
- Cabinet must be fastened in their permanent position and level
- Countertop surfaced or newly installed cabinets must be completely cleared off
- Sink(s), facuet(s), cook top, and any other items that will require a hole to be cut in your tops must be on-site at the time of templating
